North Carolina - Barnum Family Reunion FUN ON THE BEACH

Our family embarked on one of our first ever official Barnum family reunions in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The house we rented was 50 steps from the beach! WOW! Talk about sand and endless FUN! Good thing we had the pool at the house to get the sand off! We all had so much fun! I loved seeing my cutie pie nieces and nephew and family. Being that we live so far, it makes it extra special when we all get together. I am holding my cutie pie niece, Lucy, in the picture. We all loved seeing each other and reconnecting! We were able to spend a whole week out there in the sun! We drove 20 hours from here. I have to say, it was absolutely worth every minute! Thanks mom and dad for setting up such a fun time for everyone!

We ALL Loved the First Day of School!

The kids were so excited about their first day of school. Tyler went into 4th grade, Rachel 1st grade and Drew started Preschool and goes half day. All three children attend school in different buildings, so I am their personal taxi driver.

What am I doing?

Ok. So everyone seems to be blogging these days. I guess I am behind the times. I decided that this would be a goal for me to start for my own journaling purposes and also, for family and friends to catch-up to us. Hang onto your hats and enjoy the ride as you become a part of the our super exciting lives in El Dorado, Arkansas! (cough, cough) This is my first year without children home for at least part of the day. It has been WONDERFUL to have the morning to myself! Although all you mothers, know how many millions of things we have to get done! This morning I spent 2 hours at Walmart. Yeah - I know what you are thinking. How fun! Right? NOT. I am slowly working on a list of a million things I want to do this year, and this is one. YEAH!
